Junior highs and their parents are invited to join us on Sunday, January 24, 2010 from 10:30am-11:30am in the WSM Room (Westheights Office Complex) to spend time together and learn from one another.
This year we will be taking a look at our response to movies, books, television, music, video games and all other forms of media... Is Halo appropriate for someone under 13 years old (or any Christian gamer, for that matter)? What about other video games? How much is too much? Are PG-13 movies too mature for a junior high? Why is Hannah Montana "moving her hips like yeah" and what does that even mean?!
Refreshments will be served at 10:15am and you are invited to stay for lunch at 11:30am. Other family members (such as siblings) are invited to join us for lunch as well.
